Early 1900’s Farmhouse Full Remodel

A family was finally able to purchase a piece of property that had been their dream for decades. Nestled upon 10 acres was a beat up, decrepit farmhouse. At first site, one would probably say “just tear it down.” But when looked at closely with the right imagination, you can see a piece of history with detailed woodwork on the staircase, beautiful hardwood floors underneath layers of carpet and linoleum, and beautiful wood doors. They decided to give us a call to perform a full gut and remodel. This project has decent structure but the foundation was completely shot due to poor drainage. The plan is to lift the house, tear down the old block foundation, install new footings and bloock, salvage the doors, wood work, and stairs, as well as refinish the hardwood floors. Along with that, we will be updating to reinvent a beautiful, elegant interior while maintaining the vibe of a true farmhouse. (This project is ongoing and expected to be completed by early 2025).
